Client Onboarding Portal

Corporate client onboarding portal with identity validation and secure initial data upload.

Problem

A logistics company in Buenos Aires needed a system for new corporate clients to upload their IT infrastructure data, emergency contacts, and forensic authorizations without relying on email. The previous process took up to 5 business days and generated formatting errors.

Approach

We designed a three-step flow: registration with corporate domain verification, legal identity document upload, and service configuration form. Each step includes real-time validation and end-to-end encryption. The Rileyrestorer team defined the mandatory fields according to recovery SLAs.

Implementation

A standalone web portal was developed with multi-factor authentication. The database stores only metadata; files are hosted in an encrypted bucket with restricted access to the forensic team. Integration tests with the internal ticketing system were completed in 3 weeks.

Result

Onboarding time was reduced to 45 minutes. During the first 6 months, 12 corporate clients completed registration without security incidents. The portal was integrated with the SLA monitoring system, enabling recovery services to be activated in less than 2 hours from the initial upload.
